Neighborhood is not very safe although areas exist that are more quiet. Traffic uis usually light, only busy on main roads during rush hour. Schools are not rated well

Great neighbors but the area needs improvement for community: places to eat, grocery shop, community center, safer streets, etc. Not walkable.

I've lived here for 7 years and have really grown to love the neighborhood. It is currently the most diverse neighborhood in Portland and home to Powell butte nature park. With the bike path it is pretty bikeable but we really need more resources to make it more walkable. We could really use a farmers market and/or a neighborhood grocery.
