A small residential area consisting of primarily attached single-family homes, Middle Village offers relative calm in New York City. That’s in part because green spaces, in the form of a central park and two cemeteries, make up a significant percentage of the neighborhood. This tranquility and a tight-knit community draws people to the neighborhood. “I like the fact that if you go to the supermarket, people know your name and they’ll say ‘Hi,’” says Andrew LaSala, a real estate agent at Crifasi Real Estate and a resident of the neighborhood himself for more than 25 years. It’s a place families stay for generations. Case in point: LaSala’s son goes to school where his wife did, and his science teacher was hers.
Ample green spaces are available throughout Middle Village for residents to enjoy.
Middle Village locals can also host events at Bridie's Grill Room.

A large park with extensive facilities
In many ways, Juniper Valley Park is the heart of this community. The nearly 56-acre park is one of the most well-known and beloved parks in all of Queens. Residents take their children to play on the playground and go to enjoy its nearly endless array of sports areas, including fields for baseball, soccer and football, a running track, hockey rink and courts where residents can play tennis, basketball and handball. Community events are often held at the park, including a summer concert series on Tuesdays in July and August. The park, which recently received a new track, is a major draw. “Come summertime, I wouldn’t give it up for the world,” he says.
Juniper Valley Park counts with Tennis courts.

Transportation is close by and theres a mall 10 minutes walking distance but variety in take out is limited. It's better than where I used to live which was 30 minutes walking from a CVS.

It is a nice and quiet neighborhood with a walking distance to a busy and charming strip of stores and markets. The neighbors are nice and friendly. It is in the middle of everything so driving distances are very short and you can get anywhere quickly.

Middle village has a lot of racist and privileged white people. A lot of the people are passive aggressive with their racism and i have been a victim , countless times. Although i do not interact with them frequently, the racist attitudes presented are illustrated through many of the ignorant people that live around middle village (mostly white folks)
