Somersett
Neighborhood in Reno, Nevada

New homes nestled in hilly terrain
The neighborhoods' wide, winding streets are lined with contemporary homes painted in light shades of green, brown and eggshell, including some with stone facades or accents. There’s a mix of track designs and custom homes, as well as some luxury estates with palatial decks, open floor plans and walls of glass to take advantage of the landscape. Manicured front yards, young trees and bushes blend in with the abundant natural scenery that surrounds the neighborhood. Many of these homes have outstanding views of the mountains and hills that recede into the distance. Smaller homes can be found here for as low as $500,000, while large, luxury homes can sell for as high as $3 million. “They sell pretty quickly, usually in under 30 days, if it's priced correctly,” Baldecchi says.Parks, pools and golf courses

Two small public parks, Somersett West Park and Somersett East Park, have playgrounds, grassy lawns and gazebos. Residents can head east for biking and hiking at Sierra Vista Park, a popular bike park with dirt trails, jumps and bumps carved into the verdant hillsides.
