Spacious lots and high-value homes in an attractive setting
With homes occupying spacious lots amid rolling hills and mature trees, the community offers a quieter, more spread-out residential setting compared to the broader Louisville metro area. Colonial Revivals and Cape Cods are highlights of the established community's housing options, which also include midcentury ranch-style homes. Prices range from around $500,000 to about $1.5 million. The market is not very active, a sign of the community's lasting appeal. “People spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on renovations and additions in order to stay in this popular location,” says Nanette Tafel, a longtime Louisville resident who works for Kentucky Select Properties.
