“After new residential construction revitalized the Botanical Heights neighborhood, developers moved east to The Gate with a similar goal,” says Keller William Realty St. Louis Broker Associate Nick Maynes. Elementary-age children can attend the neighborhood’s Hodgen Tech Academy, which earns a C-minus rating from Niche. They advance to Long International Middle School, which also earns a C-minus rating. Heading outdoors in Lafayette Park
Buder Park, Eads Square Park and Terry Park all have open, grassy spaces and playgrounds, while Terry Park also offers a basketball court. First opened in 1851, the park is a popular spot for taking pictures at the fountain or other scenic spots like the Grotto, which has a small bridge passing over the water's reflective surface.
