Innovation has found its way into the schools in Seat Pleasant, part of the Prince George’s County School System. Students will begin their education at Seat Pleasant Elementary School, a pre-K to sixth-grade institution that offers online learning resources for scholars to continue their studies after school hours. Next, kids may attend Walker Mill Middle School, which provides online resources for children and parents. Finally, students can enter a French Immersion or International Baccalaureate program at Central High School. Central is the only school in the district to offer the French Immersion program and its IB program prepares students for success in college and life beyond.
Seat Pleasant Elementary is the neighborhood’s only elementary school.

Goodwin Park offers a scenic place for families to come together as children can climb playground equipment amid thick cherry blossoms. Goodwin Park hosts community events throughout the year, and private parties can rent the pavilion and picnic area for events while the baseball diamond, tennis courts and basketball courts are always open to the public.
