The streetscapes of Concord vary by subdivision, contrasting between suburban neighborhoods and farmland estates. Large Craftsman homes and colonial revivals can be found within Shawnee Hills and surrounding the Scioto Reserve Country Club. Wide sidewalks border sprawling green lawns and local playgrounds. These homes sit close to one another and offer more than 2,500 square feet. Along Dublin Road, private driveways divide vast fields leading to hidden properties. Ranch-style homes and split levels are rare. Many have gravel driveways just off the main road. Across the board, homes vary in price from $500,000 to $700,000. Residents can stop by the Dublin Market while in town, open on Saturdays during the summer. “Downtown Delaware is pretty underrated, too,” Hammons says. “The nightlife is unbeatable.” Closer to home, Soine Vineyards Winery hosts wine tastings and dining with a view. And the Flower Farm on Chestnut Lane encourages seasonal flower picking, even growing pumpkins in the fall.
