South Tampa suburban neighborhood near a variety of amenities
Just six miles south of Tampa, Interbay is a neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, but that may change soon. “It’s off the beaten path and away from the chaos, which is great for those who like their quiet,” says Zachary Campbell, a Realtor with Engel & Volkers, who has 10 years of experience in the area. “But it’s rapidly changing with new construction and road work being done all over.” While new construction is bringing larger houses to the area, Interbay is still primarily made up of colorful ranch-style homes. The neighborhood has a pair of parks with plenty of greenery. There are a few local shops and restaurants and solid schools. To the south, the neighborhood is bordered by MacDill Air Force Base.
