Southern Arizona suburban living

Located in southeastern Tucson, El GHEKO combines the comfort of suburban living with scenic mountainous views of Mt Lemmon and Mica Mountain and abundant outdoor recreation nearby. The community earns its name (G.H.E.K.O.) from the four subdivisions within the area — Green Hills, Harold Bell Wright Estates, El Dorado and Kingston Knolls Organization. Locals often spend their time cycling through the mountainous terrain on 3rd Street-University Bicycle Boulevard, dropping the kids off for sports lessons at Morris K. Udall Park and capitalizing on the quick 9-mile commute into downtown Tucson. El GHEKO features a mix of residential subdivisions offering an at-ease southern Arizona lifestyle while maintaining a local feel through historic areas like Harold Bell Wright Estates, local restaurants like Holy Smokin’ Butts BBQ and a bustling commercial corridor at Circle Plaza. “El GHEKO offers residents a mix of well-constructed mid-century modern homes from the 50s and 60s on the eastern side of Tucson,” says Tony Ray Baker, Certified Tourism Ambassador for Tucson and Realtor with RE/MAX Professionals.
