Vernon Hill is a residential neighborhood in the hear of Worcester

As its name suggests, Vernon Hill sits on one of Worcester seven hills. The neighborhood has an urban feel, and it’s mostly residential. Along sloping streets, cars line the curb, often parked in front of triple-deckers and Victorian-style multi-family properties. Vernon Hill Park provides outdoor space within walking distance, with sports facilities, a dog park and more. And while Vernon Hill has a more relaxed vibe, it sits about a mile from busier neighborhoods like Downtown Worcester and Green Island, also called The Canal District, and has direct access to Interstate 290 and state Route 146.
