Lawrence Park, 4 miles from downtown Yonkers and 20 miles from New York City, is an affluent community on the west side of Yonkers on the border of Westchester. To avoid traffic, commuters use the Bronxville or Fleetwood train station, both a mile away, which reach Grand Central Terminal in under an hour on the Harlem Line.
