Saint Joseph’s is a family-friendly neighborhood about a mile northeast of downtown Yonkers. You can find red brick single- and multi-family homes in this mixed-use area between North Broadway and Saw Mill River Parkway. Ashburton Avenue is lined with small businesses, including a butcher shop, a pizza place and a deli. Several green spaces are also within walking distance, like the basketball courts at Grant Park. Joggers and cyclists can use the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail, a tree-shaded path through the woods. On the other side of the trail, residents can play baseball at War Memorial Field.
