Quaint suburban charm in Yukon
Von Elm sits comfortably on Yukon’s northeastern side, less than 3 miles from Main Street. “It’s a quaint, established, quiet but friendly neighborhood,” says Brack Mosshart, a Realtor with Keller Williams-Yukon. He grew up here, and he and his family eventually decided to move back to the community. “I wanted to find a good and quiet family neighborhood, and being born and raised here, Von Elm is all that, so it was an easy choice,” he says. “Yukon is a great place to raise your family, and Von Elm is an extension of that." For homebuyers looking for an established neighborhood and great location, Mosshart says, "it’s a wonderful place to live.”

Traditional homes along residential roads
Traditional and ranch-style homes with attached garages and tall, cedar privacy fencing around their backyards are the norm in Von Elm. “Most of these homes were built in the ‘80s or ‘90s, and some are updated, but some haven’t been touched since they were built, and they still look great,” Mosshart says. The median lot size in the neighborhood is less than a quarter acre, and the average house is about 1,900 square feet. Most single-family homes sell between $200,000 and $380,000, depending on square footage and lot size. Some residences have mandatory membership in a homeowners association and monthly fees between $33 and $100.

U.S. Route 66 provides commuting convenience
Aside from its atmosphere, competitive prices and strong schools, Von Elm is sought after because of its location. “It’s located right off of Route 66, and it’s close to the Kilpatrick Turnpike as well, so it’s a great location,” Mosshart says. Residents can take 66 about 17 miles to central Oklahoma City. Even closer, Main Street Yukon is lined with an array of local restaurants and shops. Main Street is about 4 miles away via 66.
