Set along sidewalk-lined streets dotted with palm trees, Country Estates' homes are mostly late 20th-century ranch-style houses; some have Spanish Revival stylings, like terracotta-tiled roofs and stucco exteriors. For families with children, Azar recommends the 110-acre West Wetlands Park, 3 miles northeast. “West Wetlands Park is awesome for kids," Azar says, "with lots of games and a little pond.” Residents can fish in the pond for catfish, trout and largemouth trout while kids enjoy the castle-themed Stewart Vincent Wolfe Creative Playground, which community volunteers helped to build.
