Bolingbroke, a quiet community set among the pastures of central Georgia, is oriented around its residents. "We're just a good, old-fashioned Norman Rockwell community where everyone comes to town meetings and has big dinners together," says Vicki Smith, associate broker and Bolingbroke resident. She owns her business, Properties Plus Realty, with her husband and has lived in the community for over 30 years. "I can only speak for myself, but I know everybody here," Smith says. "There are about 20 houses on my street, and about 10 of us are in a book club. We know our neighbors and have a strong sense of community." Bolingbroke is close to busy cities while retaining its rural feel. "We've got the best of both worlds," Smith says. "You're in the country, but it's only a five- to 10-minute drive to Walmart." Smith says houses in Bolingbroke are not easy to get. "Everyone hangs on to their house around here," she says, "if people can find one, they get it quickly and stay put."
