Elgin
The small southwest Oklahoma city of Elgin is, located 15 miles north of Lawton, is a community of about 3,600 defined by its proximity to Fort Sill, the largest field artillery training center in the world and the largest employer in Comanche County. Elgin’s own BAE Systems facility, which assembles M109-52 Howitzers, works closely with the base.
