Jonesborough
Jonesborough is a rural village tucked away in the Appalachian foothills. Known as Tennessee’s oldest town, it’s rich in heritage and history. Established in 1779 during the height of the American Revolutionary War, it was the capital city of the State of Franklin, an autonomous, unrecognized state encompassing what is now northeast Tennessee.
