Martin Springs is named for a natural spring that flows from a cave in the area, an attraction that was once converted into a roadside resort. No longer a roadside attraction after the interstate passed it by, the area is now home to a small community off Interstate 24 between Monteagle and Kimball. Cabins and a few luxury estates are scattered
