Inspired by Somerset Development

Inspired’s story begins in 1995, when Ralph Zucker launched Somerset Development, assembling an all-star team of development, construction, and financial professionals, many of which remain part of our leadership today. Their company was formed around a development philosophy that promotes sustainable, walkable environments, providing a diversity of community-oriented spaces, housing, retail, and more. From the master planning of Parklawn Center in Rockville, MD to our current efforts to reimagine Bell Works Chicagoland, collaboration has been the centerpiece of every one of our development initiatives. They believe that their success is predicated on the ability to align their vision with their world-class architecture, construction, and leasing teams, local elected officials, and the needs of our host communities.
