Related Group

Related Group is a privately held real estate development company founded in 1979 by Jorge M. Pérez. The firm began by developing affordable housing in Miami neighborhoods including Little Havana and Homestead, and by the mid-1980s had become Florida's largest affordable housing builder. In the early 1990s, the company expanded into market-rate rental apartments and luxury high-rise condominium developments, establishing itself in formerly distressed neighborhoods such as Miami Beach and West Palm Beach. Related Companies held a 25% stake in Related Group until 2022, when Pérez acquired full ownership.

The firm operates across multiple property types including luxury condominiums, market-rate apartments, affordable housing, and mixed-use developments. The company has developed or managed more than 90,000 residential units, with a development portfolio valued at approximately $20 billion.
