Brick ranch-style and traditional houses fill the community, where construction started in the 1980s and continued in phases. Small homes in subdivisions west of White Oak Creek, off Shenandoah Boulevard, can range from $215,000 to $385,000. Larger homes east of the creek, off East Highway 34 and Sullivan Road, tend to be more expensive, often running from $315,000 to $800,000.
