Parkside is an established neighborhood on the western edge of Normal. Its cul-de-sacs and maple-shaded sidewalks are away from the noise and congestion of Uptown Normal but close to public schools and a large community park. With interstates and several major employers nearby, the area offers convenience for commuters. Grassy front lawns and private driveways leading to garages lend Parkside a suburban feel.
