I am very pleased with the experiences my sons have had at West. The band and other music directors are very dedicated. My son is in ADP allowing him to earn an AA degree at the same time as his HS diploma. He lives taking swimming at school and being in esports which has very dedicated advisors.

In general, I enjoyed my experience at Normal West. I found the teachers and counselors to be understanding and supportive. The only aspect I found lacking was the preparation for college.

In general, a decent high school experience. I seemed to fly under the radar as I was quiet and didn't participate much-- I rarely had a bad teacher experience. However, I did have a few. It was mostly about respect, assignments, and the such. More teachers seemed occupied dealing with the chatty, popular, or disrupting students. Wouldn't say I had a good nor bad experience.

Normal Community West worked with us when we moved from out of state. The counselors are great and the entire teaching staff got to accommodate us and our kids and guide us through the difficult (during the pandemic) transition!
