Metalor, the world’s largest gold refiner, opened a refinery in North Attleboro in 1984. The building underwent a two-story, 48,000-square-foot expansion in 2022. Other big employers located in the city’s central industrial park include Distron, 4 Sharp Corners, NeedleTech and Garlan Chain Company.
