Just 11 miles from downtown Miami and 14 miles from Fort Lauderdale, North Miami Beach is surrounded by a patchwork of major roads and highways. It’s a well-connected city with access to Maule Lake and, eventually, to the ocean through Haulover Inlet. The city is known for this convenience, paired with lower home costs than are typical in Miami — and that’s just as true for North Miami Beach City Center. True to its name, it sits at the heart of the city, carrying many of the same benefits. “It’s a very convenient location to be in — restaurants, shops, highways,” says Tatsiana Hladkaya, a Realtor at London Foster Realty who has sold homes in the area, especially nearby Aventura and Miami, for 15 years. She adds that it’s close to two major airports as well as to Aventura Mall, one of the largest malls in the country. North Miami Beach City Center has a mixture of condominium complexes and single-family houses. Many of its condominiums are smaller low-rise buildings, but there are several mid-rise options as well. Condominiums vary greatly in price, in part because they can be so small. One-bedroom condos start at about $150,000 and usually max out at around $350,000.
