Oak Harbor in Ohio is a small village along the Portage River, about 12 miles west of Port Clinton and the Lake Erie shoreline. Homes range from older two-story Victorian houses and farmhouse-style or Dutch cottage designs to midcentury ranch homes and newer single-story Craftsman-influenced houses and multistory Colonial Revival builds. The Benton-Carroll-Salem School District serves the village, and R.C. Waters Elementary School and Oak Harbor Intermediate School both have high ratings. Sidewalks, bike routes, state Routes 19 and 163, and Erie-Ottawa International Airport about 17 miles away help people get around.
