Orlando is a thriving metropolis in central Florida known as the theme park capitol of the world and nicknamed the 'The City Beautiful.' The seventh largest research park in the country, Central Florida Research Park, is one of the top employers. Lockheed Martin has a major manufacturing facility here, as well as other engineering firms such as General Dynamics and Siemens. Kennedy Space Center is within commuting distance of the city too. The film, television and electronic gaming industries, and major healthcare systems provide many opportunities for employment including Universal Studios and the level one trauma center, Orlando Regional Medical Center.
