Red Bluff Terrace is a neighborhood on the northern side of Pasadena, Texas, a suburb southeast of Houston. The neighborhood is tucked under Texas Route 225, and part of its appeal is its proximity to oil refineries and the jobs they bring. “The refineries stretch from right when you get on 225 all the way to La Porte,” says Yvonne Pruneda, a Realtor associate with Nan & Co. Relatively affordable prices are another key feature of the neighborhood. “It’s a good place to live comfortably and affordably,” Pruneda says. The median price for a single-family home here is $205,000. For comparison, the median price in Houston is $345,000. Most homes cost between $115,000 and $280,000, though one newly built home in the neighborhood sold for $380,000 in 2024.
