This is a really great lot! It is in the sunbelt of HPP; but being on the mauka side of the road you can still use a cesspool, which is much less expensive to install. It is also close enough to the ocean to get the sun, and ocean breezes but not the salt spray nor the tsunami danger!
This lot is beautiful with many lovely native Hawaiian hardwood Ohi'a trees and native ferns; but no junk trees! It is located far enough away from the busy road of Kaloli to not hear the traffic but close enough to only have to drive a hop, skip and jump on an unpaved road. Very nice homes in the area. Hawaiian Paradise Park is a growing community with many nice homes and it is considered a bedroom community for people who commute to Hilo to work. It is also close to Quaint Pahoa Town for restaurants, including Honolulu Magazine's Best of the Big Island Restaurant Kaleos; shopping, banks, churches, fast food too! It also has an Olympic size swimming pool that is free to use! It is also close to one of the best Farmer's Market on the Island; the Maku'u Farmer's Market, that meets on Sundays for fresh veggies and other good stuff.
