Twigwood Camp and Forest has been owned by the same family for many years, and the forest has been well managed for both sugaring and the occasional timber harvest. The compound includes a camp built in the 1980’s, a good-sized sugarhouse that produced up to 200 gallons of syrup a year, and an open garage big enough to house cars, trucks or tractors. Internally the camp is all on one floor, with high ceilings which showcase the structures peeled pine architecture. There is a separate wing for sleeping with two rooms set up with bunk beds.
