The creek bottom habitat consists of Elm, Hackberry and, Bull Mesquite Trees while the brush habitat consists of Guajilla, Blackbrush, Granjeno, Texas Kidneywood and Palo Verde Trees. Palo Verde Trees and Guajilla are well known for their excellent protein content. The brush habitat on this ranch is extremely diverse which is ideal when trying to grow big deer.
