It has front-gabled, steeply pitched "broken gambrel" roof; a design achieved by the construction of a flanking shed to each side of the central bay The exterior is clad in uncoursed, quarry-faced, multi-colored sandstone. The interior is open and structural features are exposed. There are three additional barns on the acreage as well as three ponds. The big barn (The Schultz/Neal Stone Barn) is now on the National Register of Historic Places. This is an Honorary Distinction for the barn only. The property and barn can sell with no restrictions on use. Should someone want to pursue a historic rehabilitation, they could apply for a 40% tax credit for redevelopment... certain guidelines would have to be followed to receive this.
