The Ranch has a private reservoir, Buffalo Creek Reservoir, that augments the wells in the Ranch and members and guests enjoy fishing there. San Isabel and Pike National Forest are great for 4-wheeling, hiking and cross country skiing. Monarch and Breckenridge Ski Resorts are about an hours drive for downhill skiing. Just 30 minutes away is Buena Vista for shopping, dining, and white water rafting. Denver is 2 hours to the north and Colorado Springs is about 1.5 hours to the east.
