Double pocket doors lead to the lengthy grand salon with hardwood floors and matched herringbone details in the corners and a box bay window in the front. This was the first home to be built with plate glass windows. The home has been the social center of Historic 4th, hosting elaborate dinners, wedding receptions and other events.
