This is the first time since this home in Woodridge was built that it has been for sale outside of the family. Home is agent owned. Tucked away in a development, yet easy to walk to the library, school, and sledding hills. Many Friday nights we've heard the fans cheering on the team wtih their cowbells and the band playing the tunes we all love. Watching the parades are easy- just walk to the end of the street. This was our forever house so we did "extra" over the years, putting in more money than we would see back, including an oversized stamped concrete patio, added an 8 foot sliding glass door for extra natural light, added can lights on dimmers to the family and living rooms because we had different views of how dark a room should be and replaced the concrete driveway with a new one wide enough for three cars because we knew we would need it some day. The oversized driveway was great for four-square and many games of playing basketball "pig." The addition 8 years ago added first floor laundry wtih storage cubbies designed to fit four laundry baskets (each boy had his own cubby) and a large primary bedroom with trey ceiling, rope lights, and a private bath. The basement family room and "toy room" were the kid and teen space so it needs new carpet and paint-something we planned to do this year before moving out of state. Roof, central air and furnace are all 8 years old (air cocnditioning and furnace serviced regularly). The kitchen was remodeled 11 years ago. With almost a half acre lot, the backyard is great for any outside activities you enjoy. Lots of memories made around the fire pit, on the patio and in the inground/inside pool (heated by a heatppump which we've replaced) and hottub. Tilt-in Anderson windows with internal grills, front door, pool door and garage door all replaced by current owners.
