Keep a fishing boat on the reservoir with a NY-DEP Permit and enjoy rowing around and fishing on the enormous two basin of Lake Ashokan. Note that a permit from NYC-DEP is required for pedestrian access, fishing, and for the rowboat. There are many miles of biking and jogging trails around the reservoir and nearby mountains.
