When dry, the pond beds can be planted with crops; rye, sorghum or other forages for wildlife and cattle.

Health: The dirt excavated from the ponds was used to build a berm that runs around the perimeter of the property. Walking the pine lined berm (approx 3,600 feet long/0.70 mile) is ideal for a leisurely stroll or a brisk walk to get your heart pumping. The sound of the breeze blowing through the pines as you walk is soothing to the soul.
