It is unfortunate that due to financial difficulties Croney conveyed the property in 1800 to settle a debt. The molded baseboards, vintage windows, antique doors, beautiful hardwood floors, architrave trim, the turned newels and square banisters bring, wide center foyer, romantic lower and upper porches and Victorian front door bring the past to life. Old meets new with modern comforts and updates including HVAC, all new plumbing and electric, updated baths and kitchen with granite counter tops, island and stainless-steel appliances. Spacious primary bedroom with luxurious bath and private entrance to upper porch are one of the highlights. There is also a separate apartment in the rear with a private entrance ideal as a rental, office, guest quarters or in-law suite. This property is in the Central Business District of town. It has been used primarily as a residence and B&B but has many other uses including offices, mixed use for business on the lower level and rental on the upper level.
