Showering briefly, you return to the main space and turn on the burner of the range, heating a copper pot lined with oil as you prepare a saute with wild greens. As you sit at your dining room table looking out at the verdant hush of your front garden (and your neighbors? backyard), you consider that Manhattan is only ten minutes away, all of Williamsburg is within walking distance, and yet you have privacy and seclusion as if you lived upstate.
