The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, two ovens and a huge stop top, a perfect island for dinner and entertaining, a dining table, a coffee maker and just about every other appliance and cooking utensil a fully stocked home would have, a walk-in pantry with plenty of spices, and enough supplies, plates, and utensils for about a dozen guests. The living room has an open floor plan with an 85-inch TV and surround sound. There is also a full gym available, located in the garage of the main house, and a ping pong table.
Marathon Ranch is located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg and only about 5 miles from Enchanted State Park. Enjoy Fredericksburg’s historic downtown, take in the German heritage by visiting the Pioneer Museum, sip some wine at the local wineries, shop along Main Street, explore Lyndon B Johnson State Park, and pick peaches at an orchard. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM. The primary guest must be at least 25 years old and present for the entire reservation. Guests are kindly asked to bring their own supplies for the fire pit, extinguish any flames or coals after each use, and adhere to any county burn ban in effect. All trash bags should be thrown into the dumpster when you leave, which is outside behind the white building. In the event that you need to use the hard key, please place it back in the lockbox before departing. Failure to return any keys used to the lockbox will result in a $50 replacement fee per key. Please be sure to shut off any lights when they are not in use. Please note this property has an unsupervised water feature. There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk. Please no glass in the cowboy pool and spa area; fees may apply. Please do not leave children unattended in the pool, hot tub, or wandering around the property. Please do not set the home's thermostat above 76 (heating) or below 68 (cooling). To avoid overloading the system, please adjust the thermostat by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. This is a rural property out in the Texas Hill Country, where it's common to encounter wildlife such as birds, reptiles, deer, and other local fauna. This property has roughly 20 secluded acres. You’re welcome to walk around the trails. Rural areas like ours may have limited or different services compared to urban settings, including cell phone and delivery services. As you may know, Texas is known for its bug inhabitants. To help us keep them outside, please keep all windows and doors closed. Feel free to use the bug spray underneath the sink. Pets are not allowed, and smoking is not allowed.
