Home was recently renovated including all details: light fixtures, mirrors, faucets, doorknobs, even the door hinges! Located on one of the highest points on the island, the elevation of home exceeds current flood insurance requirements by several feet without all the stairs. Great for those who prefer single-story living & who doesn't! One bedroom & bath are located just eight steps (approx 5') higher than main floor, over the garage. Since you will have lots of company, you will appreciate that separate guest suite away from the other bedrooms, which can be closed off if not in use. Straight ahead from the foyer, the extra long dining room could fit a table for 12, plus china cabinet or buffet table. Note the plantation shutters and beautiful wood floors.

The kitchen was renovated just a few years ago with new cabinets and appliances (Bosch dishwasher, glass-top range, built-in microwave, fridge with water/ice in door) and wood floors. The breakfast room is sunny and overlooks the rear deck screened by mature landscaping buffer for added privacy.

The great room features a wood-burning fireplace outfitted with gas-logs and stone hearth. This gathering place has many windows, but is easy to furnish with room for a large entertainment cabinet and plenty of seating, perhaps even a desk.

The first floor master bedroom has access to the over-sized screened porch. A king size bed with large nightstands, two or more dressers, even a sofa, would fit nicely. The new tiled master shower has two shower heads, glass wall and door, and there is room for a shower seat. The new granite-topped vanity is long with his-and-hers sinks and there is extra storage in a corner cabinet and medicine cabinet. The large walk-in closet has room for more shelving and rods, if desired.

Two guest bedrooms are larger (approx 13.5' x 11.5') so would hold 2-3 beds each, while one smaller bedroom makes a nice office (could easily fit bunk beds, even a full or queen turned sideways). The closet for this smaller bedroom is located just outside the room, but could be opened into the room.

The hall bath features a new vanity in a room separate from the tub/shower and toilet, so that two people can use the bath at the same time. Another full bath off the foyer serves as the powder room/second hall bath.

The guest suite over the garage was designed as a kids' room with nooks for 3-4 twin beds, but is currently furnished with a king bed for a second master bedroom (preferred by weekly rental companies). Maybe you need a teen retreat, au-pair suite, live-in help, or the flexibility to max out on the legal occupancy (12) for rentals.

The roof is fairly new and the HVAC has been regularly maintained. Carpet in the great room and master bedroom is just a couple years old.
An unobtrusive exterior wheelchair ramp on side of house can be removed, but is great for visiting relatives or rentals.
