Buses B61 (which will take you straight to Williamsburg) Q24,B43,B48, B61 all on the corner which you can take in lieu of train, 15 - 20 minute into Midtown .It is about 12 blocks to the Bedford Av "L", stop Williamsburg. Some commuters walk over the Pulaski Bridge to the Vernon-Jackson station in Queens to catch the 7 train to Grand Central Station, 42 str, it is a 10-minute trip.
