This expansive 5-bedroom and 3.5-bath home features vaulted ceilings, a gourmet kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances, and a cozy living area with a fireplace and large dining space. Enjoy breathtaking 180-degree views of three states from the two-tiered deck with a raised fireplace and gas grill.
Upon entering Oz Cathedral, you will be captivated by the massive 2-and-half-story vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the spectacular mountain landscape. The main floor offers a spacious living area with double sofas and a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, swivel chairs positioned to take in the stunning views, and a dining area with seating for 10+ surrounded by windows. The gourmet kitchen features solid wood cabinetry, granite counters, and stainless appliances, including a gas stove. The master bedroom includes a queen bed, fireplace, full stone bath with soaking tub, and private deck. Upstairs, you'll find four additional bedrooms, each with queen beds, and two full baths for easy access. The loft den offers breathtaking views, a smart TV, games, puzzles, and books for entertainment. Linens, towels, and starter toiletries are provided.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability with a $25 per hour fee. Parking is limited to no more than 3 cars, and street parking is not permitted.
The chalet is situated in the small vacation town of Beech Mountain, NC. Its mountaintop location and small-town charm offer a wonderful ambiance and a place to relax and refresh. The serene setting and mesmerizing natural surroundings provide plenty of attractions and places of interest for you to visit. Both Beech Mountain and Banner Elk offer skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, eco-tourism, zip-lining, mountain biking, off-road ATVs, rafting, fly fishing, hiking, golf, fine dining, and shopping all at your fingertips. It is highly recommended to bring a 4WD or AWD to access Beech Mountain, especially during winter months when snow chains are suggested.
The downstairs area is currently under construction. There are security cameras located on the front door, back deck, and garage. Quiet hours are after 10 PM, and trash must be bagged and taken to the Bearicade and completely latched to avoid a $50 charge. Firewood is not provided, but you can purchase it in town. Smoking is not allowed, and small children should be supervised on the decks due to extreme height and sudden drop-off below the deck.
The loft den provides a remote work-friendly environment with breathtaking views, a smart TV, games, puzzles, and books for entertainment. A laptop computer is not included.
