The property is close to the Katahdin Forest easement owned by the State of Maine and will forever remain as wilderness. Day trips to Baxter State Park, Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument and many other well known and not so well known spots can be easily taken from the camp.

The cabin is perfectly suited for those who appreciate simplicity and the call of the wild. Inside, you'll find a cozy space warmed by a propane heater and wood stove, and a propane stove and fridge for cooking. A screened-in porch provides the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or evening read, listening to loons call across the water. Out back, a well-kept privy adds to the classic Maine camp experience.
