In the early 1960s, Teddy & Arthur Edelmans innovative color work in exotic leathers put them at the center of an exciting fashion world where a not-yet famous Andy Warhol designed their ads and marketing materials. Over the years, they switched their focus to making luxurious upholstery leathers for architects and decorators that covered most of their furnishings and lined their elevator.
In 1969 they used their unique sense of design and taste to build this amazing property!
This widely published home was forged out of two pre-1840 pegged barns found nearby, dismantled, numbered and reconstructed in 1969 on its current site using the vintage exterior wood on the interior walls.
