Do you like new construction? I'd recommend letting someone else buy that house, live in it for about 6 years, and improve anything they didn't think was just perfect. Is that patio a little small.....well the owners thought so and expanded it. Do you need a little more living area....the owners thought so and finished approximately 650 square feet. Would it be nice to have a glass door in shower....yup, you guessed it, they did it. Would it be nice to have a little extra storage...the owners added a shed. Wouldn't it be nice to have surround sound wired in.....you're catching on here, they did it. As for everything else such as the open concept, huge kitchen with island and tons of cabinets, large yard, central air conditioning....owners thought those were already perfect enough! Add in a quiet street and the ability to walk to PEM, beaches, downtown restaurants, the MBTA and everything else Salem has to offer (or 1 mile to Cabot St in Beverly) and you have it all.
