This beautiful home is situated on 0.32 acres with 50' minimum frontage on the Gunpowder River. Two miles across the river is Aberdeen Proving Grounds with a tree lined coast. Due south of the community is Gunpowder Falls State Park, Hammerman Area which has a beautiful sandy beach. Throughout the warmer weather people enjoy boating, sailing, fishing, crabbing, paddle boarding, swimming and other water sports.

The original house was built as a vacation cottage in 1934. In 1996 the house was expanded to what it is primarily today. The house fell into foreclosure and was renovated from 2017 to present including a new HVAC (2017) and new roof (2019). Ceiling fans with lights are in all bedrooms and living areas.

The main living/entertaining area extends the full width of the house. It has an open floor plan including the kitchen, dining and sitting areas with windows and doors (1 single & 1 double/garden) overlooking the river – great for quiet family time and entertaining. In 2017 the kitchen was updated with a new refrigerator, stovetop (on kitchen island), dishwasher and countertops.

The master suite has a vaulted ceiling which extends the full width of the house along the riverside. It has plenty of room for king-sized bedroom furniture and a comfortable sitting area. It also has a private balcony with garden doors overlooking the Gunpowder River. The master suite includes a large walk-in closet and a separate bath with a double shower and double vanity (plumbing accessible but not connected).

The laundry room is on the main level and includes a front loading washer and gas dryer and new utility sink (2022).

The utility room was added to the existing main level in 2017 when the new HVAC was installed. An additional propane pipe was installed in the utility room so a tankless propane water heater could be installed at a later date. The Utility room can be accessed through the roadside door or a door in the laundry room.

The original basement can be accessed through the roadside door or through the utility room.
