Construction is ongoing in Port Aransas, and there may be noise from building or community improvement projects. Cable Wi-Fi is provided, but outages may occur, and there are no refunds for outages or if the city pool is closed for cleaning, repair, or maintenance. The island may have plentiful mosquitoes and pests at times, but properties are treated by professional pest control monthly. Wi-Fi is not compatible for guests working remotely during their stay, and a good connection is not guaranteed due to spotty internet on the island.
