ORIGINAL OWNER built this gem and spared no expense to make sure it was built SOLID!! Seriously! Not one squeak, buckle, or sway in those floors! Now that tells you the quality is surely there! Did I mention there are SOLID WOOD DOORS throughout the house too - hollow core doors just wouldn't do! The secondary bedrooms are the size of most master bedrooms!! The master suite is the size of most great rooms! And the kitchen!!! All that SPACE is just unbelievable. CABINETS GALORE!. Separate breakfast room, separate dining room, separate formal living room (that could be used as an office or knock out the wall between it and the separate den and have a huge great room!) A foyer that is the size of today's new construction bedrooms!! A ROCK fireplace that is just gorgeous with a built in section to hold your firewood. A mud room with the laundry and a half bath in it and still big enough for pantry shelves and a deep freezer!! I'm not joking... the SPACE in this home is what most people only dream of having! And get this...The ROOF and HVAC (and some of the duct work too) are only a few years old. And it gets better.....there's a BASEMENT too! With a boat door (as well as interior entrance) that is already stubbed for a FULL BATH! The usable part of the basement is about half the size of the house!! So much space and possibilities for that area! There was a ground water intrusion issue with the crawl space section of the basement (sounds like a bad thing, doesn't it... keep reading though because it is AWESOME news to the new owner of this house because...) the seller had the entire crawl space WATER PROOFED by (extremely expensive) ENCAPSULATION with a sump pump installed and TWO commercial size dehumidifiers so no more water issues! And to be overly cautious and to make sure there was no chance of any mold spores that might have crept up through the subfloor, all the flooring upstairs in the house was removed, house was "enzymed" and NEW LVP installed everywhere except bathrooms and bedrooms! This seller is the bomb!!! The bathrooms have tile floors (wait until you see that hall bath floor - so gorgeous!!) and the bedroom floors have been left unfinished. Lets see... what have I not mentioned... Oh, I know... the ATTIC HAS A FAN that kicks on when the temp gets to a certain level in the attic and it blows the hot air out! This helps with your cooling bills AND with the life span of your roof. Oh... and the outside of the house is actually CEDAR siding.
