According to public records, the original house was built in 1940 of a Cape style design with features typical of the period to include first level wood flooring, tin ceilings, and custom built-ins. In 1978+/- the sellers' family made a huge investment in the home with the addition of the two-car garage, large first floor bedroom, and den. In 1994+/- another expansion occurred with the raising of the roof on the back of the main house increasing the size of the bedrooms, adding spacious closets, a skylight in the hallway entry to the bright full bath, and a massive storage room/workshop running the length of the rear of the house.
